The most essential thing is that the usage of household appliances grew dramatically; especially, refrigerator and vacuum machine were used in every household in 20 th century. Initially, people knew refrigerator only 30 per cent, and they did not familiar with vacuum cleaner at all. However, washing machine was the most famous with around two fifth of households at the beginning of time, and it was a steady growth to reach 70 per cent in 1960.
